I was recently invited to participate in the 25th Anniversary celebration of this note worthy organization. I had an amazing time learning about them and the community of citizens that they help. On the contrary, it was also disheartening to learn about the statistics of immigrants trying to gain education, housing and employment while encountering challenges without a support system.
